Exactly what are the effects of swapping body parts?
1 of 3: The only effect is which perk you have that's related to that body part.
2 of 3: Putting in your original heart replaces the Heartless perk with the Cardiac Arrest perk, and putting in your original spine replaces the Spineless perk with the Reinforced Spine perk. (See the Other Perks list for the details on both perks.)
3 of 3: Note that you can use the auto-doc to swap back to the synthetic body parts and their related perks later on if you want to.
