Plaza Side Areas Tips
1 of 11: Start by entering the open residence at the SE end of the plaza and checking its bathroom for a toilet you can drink from, plus some cloud residue on the wall that you can collect.
2 of 11: Return to the plaza and go down the passage that's directly north of the police station entry door to reach a large square area.
3 of 11: Look around for a bit of loot and a radroach or two to kill, then go down the passage in the SW corner to reach a side area with more loot (including a locked metal box) and a locked side door that leads into the police station.
4 of 11: Return to the square and go through the open door on its west side, then grab the Explosives skill magazine from the table before going up the stairs.
5 of 11: Lockpick the gun cabinet open if you can, then look on the wooden shelves to the right of it for a suit of Sierra Madre light armor. It has identical stats to the Vault 34 security armor, which is the best light armor in the Mojave Wasteland ("best" meaning highest max DT rating).
6 of 11: Return to the square, then go to its north end to find the entrance to another toxic cloud area. You may want to skip it, though you can get several good supplies from it. (Note that you can get cloud residue from the wall to the right of the entrance without entering the cloud, and from a wall just inside the cloud without taking much damage.)
7 of 11: Go east from the square to return to the police station plaza, then go through the doorway at its north end. Slowly crouch-walk up to the next blue-framed doorway so you can disarm the tripwire that activates a swinging-beam trap.
8 of 11: Go up the stairs and look next to the couch for a 5 of Hearts card, then check the little kitchen area for a metal box and an electric hot plate that you can use to craft various campfire-style items (including the new cloud kiss items if your Survival skill is high enough).
9 of 11: Go through the kitchen door and look for scrap metal and a few chips, then go down the stairs to the west to find another small fountain with chips, plus the other entrance to the toxic cloud area you explored (or skipped) before.
10 of 11: Watch for a couple of radroaches to kill near the cloud, then slowly crouch-walk toward it to get to where you can pick up some cloud residue without getting damaged.
11 of 11: Move over to the small high-up wooden balcony near the fountain and get to where you can look up and get the junk food that's on the balcony's edge, then look in the SE corner of the area for a 10 of Hearts card.
