Where can I find Light Switch 01's upgrade?
1 of 6: Fast-travel to the X-12 Research Center, then enter the X-12 building.
2 of 6: Most of the building's interior is inaccessible due to force fields. You'll have to upgrade the sonic emitter to short out force fields before you can progress.
3 of 6: Come back after you finish the "Sonic Emitter Upgrade" quest, then use a sonic emitter to shoot out the force field that's over the stairs.
4 of 6: In the area below is a master-level trauma harness guy, and he's using a powerful K9000 cyberdog gun. You'll want to either blast him from above with a missile launcher, or get up close to him and use V.A.T.S. to shoot his gun out of his hands.
5 of 6: After he's down, watch for three regular trauma override harness guys to come after you.
6 of 6: Kill them off, then descend to the bottom floor. The Light Switch 01 upgrade holotape is leaning against the projector that's on the table near the bottom of the stairs.
