1 of 6: After you're through exploring and looting the various Goodsprings areas, head south from Goodsprings Source and follow the road down to Primm (location 20 on the Zone 3 Map). If this quest is set as the active one, Primm will be marked by a quest arrow on the game's world map.
2 of 6: NOTE: As you leave the Goodsprings area, the game will prompt you to either rebuild your character or continue on with the one you have. This is your last chance to change your starting S.P.E.C.I.A.L. scores, tag skills, traits, etc.
3 of 6: As you approach Primm, an NCR trooper by the roadside will talk to you about the local problems, including escaped convicts running loose in town.
4 of 6: Move farther down the road if necessary to get credit for discovering Primm, then fast-travel to it to get moved closer to your goal. Quicksave before moving on, since that trooper wasn't lying about those escaped convicts.
5 of 6: If you don't want to fight the convicts, head east down the street and go over to the left corner. Run around that corner and look for a door to the Vikki and Vance Casino on your left. If you enter it quickly enough, you won't get shot much if at all, and the convicts probably won't follow you inside. (If they do, try restoring the autosave that was made when you entered the casino.)
6 of 6: Talk to Johnson Nash about your aborted delivery job to finish this objective and get another one (plus the "My Kind Of Town" Primm faction quest).
