How can I do it with Neil's help?

  • 1 of 4: The only way this'll be possible is if you passed the Speech 50 check that came up in your quest-starting conversation with Neil. That would've gotten you the "(Optional) Meet Neil in the village near the summit of Black Mountain" objective.
  • 2 of 4: Finish it, then run back to the small gap on the fallen satellite dish's east side and crouch down again.
  • 3 of 4: Wait a bit, then peek around to see if Neil has returned yet. When he has, the only nightkin left in the compound will be the sniper that's on the platform next to the radio tower.
  • 4 of 4: Sneak along the cliff wall that's to your left as you approach the compound. As soon as you're within sniping range, kill the nightkin sniper with a sniper rifle or other scoped weapon. If you don't have one, you'll have to sneak in as close as you can and use some other weapon on him.
