Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Guard the Silver Rush entrance.

  • 1 of 8: You're automatically equipped with Van Graff-brand combat armor and a plasma or laser rifle (whichever you chose in dialogue), so you're all set to guard the door. You can move around now, but don't move very far, or Simon will turn hostile and the quest will fail.
  • 2 of 8: Stand and wait until a drunk walks up and talks to you. Tell him it's company policy not to let him in.
  • 3 of 8: Next up is a gambler who wants in. That's okay as long as you insist on searching him first.
  • 4 of 8: The third guy to come by is another gambler. When you say that you need to pat him down for weapons, he'll protest.
  • 5 of 8: You'll then have to deny him entrance unless you can pass a Speech 65 check to convince him to submit to the search.
  • 6 of 8: The fourth guy is another gambler, and he'll also balk at the routine search.
  • 7 of 8: If you insist on searching him, he'll pull a gun and attack. Help Simon kill him, then quickly loot him to get a C-4 plastic explosive and other items before the body is disposed of.
  • 8 of 8: The fifth and final guy to come by is named Pacer. To keep him from turning needlessly hostile, agree to pass his message along to Gloria.
