Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Meet Ranger Grant on the Observation Deck.

  • 1 of 4: You could just follow Ranger Grant up to his post near the visitor center's upper entrance doors, then talk to him to finish this objective, but there are a couple of optional bits of preparation you might want to do first.
  • 2 of 4: To start with, do the "(Optional) Investigate the area for clues" objective to learn of a possible sniper threat and an engineer imposter.
  • 3 of 4: Go back into the supply closet that the blood stain is in so you can steal an NCR Engineer Jumpsuit from a locker.
  • 4 of 4: Find Ranger Stevens and his dog near the visitor center's lower entrance doors. Talk to Stevens and ask to borrow his dog to check out the area. He'll let you if you have the level 10 perk Animal Friend. (As an alternative, go get the cyber-dog named Rex as a follower.)
