Followers List
Below is a short summary of where you can find all of the followers in the game. For a list of the perks you can get from followers, see the Follower Perks list. For the quests related to them, see the Follower Quests.
NOTES: You can have one robot follower and one non-robot follower with you at once. If you're not playing on hardcore mode, followers can't be killed -- only knocked unconscious until all nearby hostiles are killed, you go through an area transition doorway, or your stealth indicator reads "[HIDDEN]." You get the XP for any kill a follower makes, even if you didn't contribute any damage to the kill. Human and ghoul followers can wear armor, including power armor, and its condition never degrades while they're wearing it. When you dismiss a follower, you can send him to the Lucky 38 (if you've been there and talked to Mr. House) or another place, which is usually where you found him.
ROBOT FOLLOWERS
* ED-E (eyebot) => Primm (Zone 3/20) * Rex (cyber-dog) => King's School of Impersonation (Zone 1/Freeside interior)
NON-ROBOT FOLLOWERS
* Arcade Gannon => Old Mormon Fort (Zone 1/Freeside interior) * Boone => Novac (Zone 4/15) * Cass => Mojave Outpost (Zone 3/38) * Lily (nightkin) => Jacobstown (Zone 1/1) * Raul (ghoul) => Black Mountain (Zone 4/1) * Veronica => 188 Trading Post (Zone 2/36)
There are a couple of "bonus" followers you can get in addition to the regular followers listed above. They work similarly to regular followers, except that you can't talk to them, they can be killed even if you're not playing on hardcore mode, they won't instantly heal after combats are over, and you won't get XP for their kills.
