Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Primm's Deputy has been captured by Powder Gangers in Bison Steve ....
1 of 6: The Bison Steve Hotel is across the convict-filled street from the casino, so it's going to be a painful run if you didn't kill the convicts on the way in.
2 of 6: You might want to exit the casino, shoot down the nearest convict or two, then reenter the casino and heal up before continuing. After killing all of the convicts in the street, loot them to get lots of gear.
3 of 6: Be ready to fight a couple more convicts right away when you enter the hotel. Note that if you're sneaky, you might be able to get the drop on them.
4 of 6: The deputy you're after is being held in a small room that's just east of the hotel's large southern room. Be warned that one of the convicts in the southern room has a powerful incinerator weapon.
5 of 6: After you kill off all of the convicts or sneak your way past them, deal with Deputy Beagle. This can mean killing and looting him, pickpocketing his journal, or freeing him.
6 of 6: Freeing him is really the best choice, so that's what these hints will assume you do. If you shortcut things by killing or pickpocketing him, you'll get slightly different objective names for the rest of the quest.
