Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Head to Novac through Nipton. Ask around Novac about your attackers.

  • 1 of 5: TIP: Before you leave Primm, scavenge the parts necessary to repair ED-E and make him a follower. (See the "ED-E My Love" follower quest.)
  • 2 of 5: Novac is your real goal here. Nipton is just suggested as a place to pass through on your way there, since following the roads is generally safer than traveling off-road. See the Zone 3 Map and Zone 4 Map if you want to plot your own route to Novac and choose which locations to discover along the way.
  • 3 of 5: After you reach Novac, go over to the giant dinosaur to find Victor hanging around near its tail. Talk to him if you want, then enter the nearby Dino Dee-lite Front Desk area.
  • 4 of 5: Ask Jeannie May Crawford about the man in the checkered coat to get the next objective. (If she's not there, check her house a ways to the west, or ask someone else about the man in the checkered coat.)
  • 5 of 5: TIP: Talk to Jeannie May until you can ask where to find supplies, then tell Cliff Briscoe in the huge dinosaur's gift shop that Jeannie May sent you. That'll get you a permanent discount with him.
