Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Acquire a functional diagnostic scanning module for Caesar's Auto-Doc.
1 of 10: Go to Vault 34 (location 15 on the Zone 2 Map) and enter its 1st floor section after thrashing any nearby golden geckos. (Note that you'll need to bring several rad-x and radaway items for this expedition.)
2 of 10: Make your way north through the cave tunnels, killing first golden geckos and then ghoulish vault dwellers as you go.
3 of 10: Soon after the tunnel turns west, you'll enter the actual vault area. In the large room with the lower floor, turn right and go down the stairs to reach that floor, ready to start blasting a bunch of ghouls that come running.
4 of 10: Find the big hole in the floor and drop through it, then leave the room you land in and turn left. Keep going down the corridor, killing ghouls as they appear, until you come to the door labeled "CLINIC."
5 of 10: Fight your way through the clinic and out its other door, then move down the next corridor until you find the door labeled "UTILITY."
6 of 10: In its room, find the terminal on the table. Check the corridor to see if any more ghouls have shown up, then hack the terminal so you can access it.
7 of 10: On the terminal's menu, choose "System" and then "Activate Pump Station." That'll drain the nearby flooded side area.
8 of 10: Go back down the corridor to that side area to find that its door is now closed. Use the door to enter the newly de-flooded area, then go down the stairs and make a U-turn.
9 of 10: Go through the Security Station A door to enter a previously inaccessible section of the armory. Move through it, blasting ghouls as you go, until you reach the final room.
10 of 10: Look to the right of the huge machine console for a broken auto-doc that you can activate to take the part you need.
