Fallout: New Vegas Hints
How can I get "like" points with Boone?
of 8: Killing Silus at Camp McCarran (location 37 on the Zone 1 Map) while questioning him or afterwards gets you 1 point. (See the "Interrogator Wanted" undocumented quest.)
of 8: Killing Captain Curtis in the control tower on the "I Put a Spell on You" NCR/Caesar's Legion faction quest gets you 1 point, and so does disarming the bomb on the monorail. (Note that the two are mutually exclusive.)
of 8: Killing Caesar or causing him to die during surgery on the main quest "Render Unto Caesar" gets you 2 points.
of 8: Saving and releasing the Powder Ganger hostages on the "Booted" Powder Ganger faction quest gets you 2 points.
of 8: Killing Vulpes Inculta gets you 1 point. It's best to do this in Nipton (location 43 on the Zone 3 Map), since the New Vegas Strip and Caesar's fort are the only other places you can ever find him.
of 8: Saving all of the crucified NCR hostages on the "Back in Your Own Backyard" NCR faction quest gets you 2 points, and killing them all gets you 1 point.
of 8: Completely wiping out the Legion presence in Cottonwood Cove on the "Eye for an Eye" NCR/Caesar's Legion faction quest gets you 2 points.
of 8: NOTE: Approaching any Legion camp with Boone will cause the Legionnaires to immediately turn hostile no matter what your rep with the Caesar's Legion faction is. On some of the above-mentioned quests, like "Eye for an Eye," you'll need to have Boone wait for you somewhere while you enter a Legion camp to perform non-hostile activities.
