Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Send someone in front of Dinky the Dinosaur. Put on the beret to signal ....

  • 1 of 5: Exit the dinosaur and check your local area map for quest arrows that lead to the people you can ask about Boone's wife.
  • 2 of 5: You could use a dialogue topic to get any of those people to go to a spot in front of the dinosaur. Follow the person there, then go to inventory and put on Boone's beret to get that person shot before he can wander off. However, you won't be able to get Boone to become a follower unless you pass a Speech 55 check when you talk to him.
  • 3 of 5: If your Speech skill is low, you'll need to do the "(Optional) Ask around Novac for information about who kidnapped Boone's wife" and "(Optional) Look for evidence of the guilty party inside the Dino Dee-lite ..." objectives to find proof of who took Boone's wife.
  • 4 of 5: Read the bill of sale you found to learn that Jeannie May Crawford is the guilty one.
  • 5 of 5: Talk to her and get her to go to the spot in front of the dinosaur, then put on Boone's cap to get him to kill her.
