Find and defuse the bomb on the McCarran monorail before it leaves the ....
1 of 7: If you're in the control tower when you get this objective, quickly leave it and run back to the garage doors that lead into the terminal building.
2 of 7: Run up to the east side of the top floor, then go through the door in the short NE hallway to reach the monorail station.
3 of 7: Run up to the monorail's open door and enter it, then turn left and go over to the closed door that leads to the next passenger section.
4 of 7: Activate the vent that's to the left of that door to find the bomb.
5 of 7: If your Explosives skill is 35+ or your Science skill is 45+, you'll be able to defuse the bomb.
6 of 7: NOTE: If you confronted and killed Curtis in the control tower, the monorail may glitchily leave the station before you can get to the bomb no matter how fast you move. Fortunately, you can still finish the quest, though with a reduced reward.
7 of 7: TIP: If you didn't kill Curtis in the tower, you can go do so after disarming the monorail's bomb.
