Fallout: New Vegas Hints

(Optional) Return to Yes Man and tell him that you plan to ignore ....

  • 1 of 2: After you finish the "Go to Red Rock Canyon and make contact with Great Khans" objective, you can go right back to Yes Man and say the Great Khans can be ignored.
  • 2 of 2: However, doing that will leave them to be allies of Caesar's Legion. You might want to put a stop to that by either killing all the Great Khans at Red Rock Canyon (very tough) or by doing their "Oh My Papa" faction quest. (Note that it's possible to convince them to help at the dam if you do their quest.)
