Saving Sergeant Teddy

  • 1 of 7: After starting on the "Render Unto Caesar" main quest, go to the Fort and look for the little girl named Melody in the brahmin pen that's SW of Caesar's tent.
  • 2 of 7: If you can pass a Speech 50 check, you can get her to tell you about her missing teddy bear, Sergeant Teddy. (Note that if you can't pass the Speech check, you can read ahead and choose the pickpocketing option.)
  • 3 of 7: You'll find Antony and his cyber-dog Lupa just south of Caesar's tent. You could pickpocket Sergeant Teddy from Antony, but that's not the best way since it doesn't get you any Legion fame.
  • 4 of 7: Talk to Antony about Melody's bear, then agree to fight four of his mongrels in the arena (or two mongrels with a Barter 50 check).
  • 5 of 7: As usual with arena fights, all of your equipment will be confiscated, and you'll be given a machete to fight with. Also as usual, you'll get some Legion fame and all of your equipment back right after your last opponent dies.
  • 6 of 7: Talk to Antony again to get Sergeant Teddy, then return to Melody.
  • 7 of 7: Tell her you got Sergeant Teddy, then either give him to her to get some karma and 25 XP or tear him in half to get some bad karma and Legion fame.
