Fallout 2 Hints

Assassinate Carlson.

  • 1 of 11: This is the second (and last) job that you will get from John Bishop.
  • 2 of 11: It comes after you've quietly killed Westin.
  • 3 of 11: Carlson is hidden behind the security field to the west of the council chambers.
  • 4 of 11: You'll need a pass to get into that section.
  • 5 of 11: Carlson is the vice president of NCR.  The pass to see him probably comes from someone else important.
  • 6 of 11: Like the president.
  • 7 of 11: Or her assistant.
  • 8 of 11: You can't get it by asking, though.
  • 9 of 11: Steal it.  You don't need a particularly high steal skill here.
  • 10 of 11: Then, show the pass to the guards in front of the security field to gain access to Carlson.
  • 11 of 11: Although you can solve this quest with guns blazing, it wouldn't hurt to solve this stealthily, to avoid summoning the guards.
