Fallout 2 Hints
Get fuel for the Hubologists.
1 of 5: If you join the Hubologists, the shuttle technician will ask you to get some fuel for their shuttle.
2 of 5: Some of the same options that apply to getting fuel for the tanker also work here.
But before you go ahead and fuel the shuttle, be warned that I could not find any way to actually use the fueled shuttle to get anywhere. The AHS-9 won't help you -- if you agree to help him, all he does is double-cross you in the end. I present these hints here, just in case you do find a way to use the shuttle. (I'd also appreciate any information you could provide on this topic.)
3 of 5: In particular, you can trade a hardened power armor with Shi scientist Dr. Jing for the fuel, and have him deliver it to the Hubologists instead. (See the above hint for details.)
4 of 5: Or you can break into the Shi computer and steal it yourself.
5 of 5: The Hub computer expert, however, will not steal it for you -- the only option that I got in talking to him was to ask him to divert the fuel to the Poseidon tanker. I don't know why he wouldn't want to divert the fuel to the Hubologists instead. But he didn't seem willing, in any case.
