Fallout 2 Hints
Recover a spleen.
1 of 11: Chip on the Poseidon tanker will give this quest to you.
2 of 11: He apparently lost his spleen to Lao Chou, the merchant just to the northwest of the entrance gate into Chinatown (near the exit grid back to the world map).
3 of 11: Talk to him, and he'll tell you where the spleen went.
4 of 11: He sold it to Dr. Wong, who's one of the scientists in the Shi temple.
5 of 11: You have to make a convincing case to get it back from Dr. Wong.
6 of 11: Tell him it's a human spleen. Otherwise, you won't get it back, and you won't be able to say anything else to convince Wong to return it.
7 of 11: Finally, you need to arrange the operation to fix it.
8 of 11: There's a doctor in town who will help you. Dr. Fung is on the main Chinatown screen.
9 of 11: At least, he'll sell his services, and as long as you're not a Hubologist. Even if you are, you might be able to able to convince Dr. Fung to help you.
10 of 11: The only way I found to do this was to complete the quest to kill AHS-9.
There was, however, a patch to the PC version of the game to allow you to finish this quest as a Hubologist. This may give you a solution to the quest that doesn't involve killing AHS-9.
11 of 11: Then, let Chip know that the operation is ready to go, and he'll be cured in a day. I found no reward here, aside from the experience, even though his comment to come back later suggested there might be one.
