Fallout 2 Hints
How can I get inside the base?
of 9: You have two options here. As always, fighting is one solution, but it isn't the only one.
of 9: Security isn't all that tight around here. Unlike at Navarro, you don't need any passwords to prove who you are.
of 9: All you need to do is look like you belong.
of 9: You probably found some Advanced Power Armor from the Navarro base.
of 9: Wear that, and the guards will accept you as one of their own.
of 9: But not if you've brought along anyone who might trigger suspicion.
of 9: Leave any of your party members who don't have Advanced Power Armor outside of the areas with guards, or your entire party will come under attack.
of 9: I recommend leaving them just to the east or south of the seal on the first map grid beyond the docks. That way, you can pick them up on your way out of the base at the end of the game.
of 9: There are a couple of choices you can make once you've started to explore the base that might affect your ability to get to the reactor level. The following hints may help you here, if you need the help.
