Fallout 2 Hints

Sabotage the mine's air purifier.

  • 1 of 4: You'll get this quest after you've completed a prison break.  (It will also appear as completed if you've brought peace to Broken Hills, because the two quests are mutually exclusive.)
  • 2 of 4: Jacob will ask you to plant an explosive on the mine's air purifier.
  • 3 of 4: Just go into the mine and do it.  If you need help finding the purifier, the hints about repairing it might help.
  • 4 of 4: Report back to Jacob, and all the mutants in Broken Hills will be dead.
