Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Ghoul Combat Tips
1 of 5: If you're not a super stealthy character, you'll want to help kill the ghoul reavers before they can completely overpower the security bots.
2 of 5: If you have a dart gun, shoot each reaver once with it to cripple their legs and slow them down. That'll make it a lot easier for you to dodge them if they come after you.
3 of 5: After the first batch of ghouls is finished off, move down to the big tunnel split carefully, since there are probably more ghouls and reavers ready to run to the attack.
4 of 5: This can get really *seriously* hard to survive unless you're on an easy difficulty setting or are using stealth devices to remain unseen. The Customized Stealth-Based Character would be ideal here, since he could sneak-attack any ghouls that remained after all the robots were destroyed.
5 of 5: If you can't be sneaky, one other thing you can try is leading ghouls back into the Presidential Sub Level area. Any reavers that follow you should get stuck fighting one of the ceiling turrets in M.A.R.Go.T.'s room. If any other ghoul types follow you through, finish them off quickly with a combat shotgun or some other powerful weapon. (Unless you left some robots "alive" in the tunnel past M.A.R.Go.T.'s room, in which case you can lead the ghouls into them.)
