Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Locate the Exit to Adams Airforce Base.
of 12: Move along the tunnels until you come to a large lobby area with a hostile robot. After you fight it, look around for items in the side room, then go down some stairs.
of 12: The next big room you come to will have another hostile robot and a ceiling turret, so watch out for those. You'll have to fight a few more robots as you move on to another room, and then down the tracks that lead east.
of 12: At the other end of those tracks, go through some doors, down some stairs, and through some more doors to reach another track area.
of 12: Hang back and take out the robot and ceiling turret from a distance, then move down the tunnel, watching for more robots.
of 12: Near the end of the tunnel is a side room with a talking computer console in it. After quicksaving, move up to the console and activate its circular screen.
of 12: If you can pass a Speech Challenge, or if your Science skill is high enough, you can convince M.A.R.Go.T. to mark you as a friendly so that the robots and turrets in the next area (and any left in this area) won't attack you. You'll also get the "(Optional) Clear the security breach in the Presidential Metro" objective, and the Presidential Metro door will be unlocked.
of 12: Talk to M.A.R.Go.T. about everything, then move on past it to find the door to the Presidential Metro area. Proceed with caution, since it's full of ghouls, including the insanely powerful ghoul reavers.
of 12: If you go north at the tunnel split, you can find some supplies next to dead bodies, but south is the way you need to go to continue.
of 12: When the tunnel dead-ends, go back a bit and find the well-marked equipment room on its east side. Take what you want from the room (including a Nuka-Cola Quantum on some shelves), then enter the next tunnel.
of 12: Watch for a ghoul to drop down right in front of you as you head toward the last ghoul-vs.-robot conflict. After all ghouls are down, move on to where there are some stairs on your right marked EXIT, and a room to the left with a working metro car.
of 12: Exit the metro car and go up the stairs, then peek around the corner to find a couple of Enclave soldiers and a ceiling turret to shoot. (Or you might could sneak by them by unlocking the nearby door and going through the room past it.)
of 12: Go up the stairs past them to find some doors that'll take you to the Adams Air Force Base area.
