Find Desmond and stop him.
1 of 4: Right after you enter the lighthouse, a large floor panel will slide aside, revealing the entrance to the brain's secret Underground Lab area.
2 of 4: In the lab, go along the passage until you meet Desmond in the entrance to a side room.
3 of 4: You can either fight and kill him now, or you can say that you're not going to side with "this crazy brain thing" in order to switch sides and start helping Desmond.
4 of 4: NOTE: If you join up with Desmond, your new objective will be called "Kill Desmond OR kill the Professor," and things will be exactly the same as if you'd sided with Desmond in the first place. Switch over to reading hints in the "Travel with Desmond to the Professor" objective, and go on from there.
