Optional Downtown Explorations
1 of 9: Run all the way back to the market square area, then look to the left of the entrance to Midea's quarters to find another formerly locked gate that's now unlocked.
2 of 9: Open it and go up to the top of the stairs, where you'll find another door that leads to the Uptown area.
3 of 9: Look south of that for a walkway that leads across to an upper market section with a merchant named Friday that you can buy and sell with. She can also repair your equipment up to 47%.
4 of 9: Note that most of the containers and items in her store area are owned by her, which means you'll have to steal them sneakily to avoid making all of the raiders hostile. However, there are some things in her area and nearby that you can take without sneaking.
5 of 9: That includes the large stash of weapons and ammo that you can find in the room that's directly above the one that has the stairs and Uptown door in it. Look a bit NE of Friday's store for the bridge that leads up to it.
6 of 9: Get on the walkway that's just west of Friday's store, then go down the ramp and turn right to find a room with some chems and beer on a table, plus a few containers to search. (Steal the beer sneakily if you want it.)
7 of 9: Look around the walkways for Pitt raiders to pickpocket if you want, then return to the room with the Uptown door. Use the walkways west of the door to find a bathroom, plus some ramps that lead up past a small room with a few filing cabinets.
8 of 9: At the top of the ramps, you have three areas to search for items. Directly ahead of you is a room with several containers, to the east (right) is another room with a safe and some stuff on shelves, and to the west is a bar where you can barter with a guy named Harris.
9 of 9: When you're done with all of that, you can go through the Uptown door in this area to be on Uptown's higher walkways right off, but the hints below this tip section will assume you returned to the mill and went through its Uptown door.
