Armory Notes
of 6: If you don't have a Lockpick skill of 100, you won't be able to open the armory door without a key.
of 6: You can pickpocket an armory key from either Harkness or Commander Danvers.
of 6: Once the armory door is open, you'll have to deal with the turret past the door.
of 6: If you don't want to turn everyone in Rivet City hostile, you'll need to decoy Private Jones away with a Speech Challenge first, and not let anyone else see you open the door or destroy the turret.
of 6: If you're sneaky enough and use a Stealth Boy, you should be able to destroy the turret without anyone else turning hostile, even if there are several people nearby. (Note that you'll have to destroy it quickly, even if that means using a noisy weapon like a shotgun.)
of 6: If you can't manage it unseen, then first pickpocket ammo from all the nearby security guards. That way, when you open the armory door and trash the turret, the guards won't be able to shoot you, making it easier for you to do a quick snatch-and-run. (Remember that it'll be three game days before Rivet City stops being hostile to you.)
