Fallout 3 Hints
Farragut West Station
1 of 9: This metro area has an exterior entrance at the Farragut West Metro Station (location 2 on the Zone 9 Map), plus an exit to the Tenleytown/Friendship Station metro area. This guided tour assumes you're entering from the exterior area.
2 of 9: After descending the starting ramp, look around the starting hallway area and a side area for supplies before proceeding.
3 of 9: Leave the side area and proceed down the hall, watching for mole rats past the row of turnstiles.
4 of 9: Go through the doorway past the turnstiles and search the two office rooms and bathroom for supplies before going through the doorway that leads to a service tunnel.
5 of 9: Enter the service tunnel and move forward to where there's a lawnmower you can raid for a lawn mower blade, then go down some stairs to find a toolbox near a side niche with a flaming barrel in it.
6 of 9: In the room past that, go up some stairs to reach an upper floor. Across a short walkway is a locked gate with four ghouls past it.
7 of 9: Past the gate, use the walkway stairs to get down to the lower floor, then pick open the locked door down there if you can. Past the door is a room with lots of great stuff on shelves, including two frag grenades, two 10mm pistols, an assault rifle, a baseball bat, three pre-war books, four missiles, two ammo boxes, and a Big Guns skill book called "U.S. Army: 30 Handy Flamethrower Recipes."
8 of 9: Get back up on the upper floor and check the filing cabinets near the locked door before you pick it open (or use the key from the office to unlock it).
9 of 9: Past that door are some stairs that lead up to the exit to the Tenleytown/Friendship Station metro area.
