2 of 13: This region has several ghouls and raiders in it, so come with plenty of ammo and healing items. The tour starts at the Dupont Circle Station entrance.
3 of 13: Near where you start are two garbage cans, a metal box, and a door to the Collapsed Car Tunnel area. Go up the stairs and look for another garbage can at the top, then go into Sneak mode and crouch-walk over to where you can see into the large sunken area nearby.
4 of 13: There are several ghouls down there that you need to kill. Either get their attention so they'll come after you, allowing you to shoot them at closer range, or sneakily shoot the City Liner vehicle down there and wait for it to explode and blow all of the ghouls up.
5 of 13: After they're dealt with, cross over the sunken area using the mesh-covered bridge, then go into Sneak mode as you start down the alley that leads east between buildings to a raider side area.
6 of 13: Go through the doorway that's SW of the side area's Pulowski Preservation Shelter, then find the doorway that leads out to the street. While standing in the doorway, look toward the large central fountain that the raiders have fortified. Get their attention, then back up and wait for three of them to come after you.
7 of 13: After they're down, move toward the large circular fountain area without entering it to see if you can snipe at any more raiders. If so, retreat for cover and finish them off before re-emerging. Get all the ones you can, then loot the fountain area of goods.
8 of 13: Head north from the fountain to find a broken-down fence next to another ghoul-filled sunken area. As before, you can get the ghouls' attention and shoot them down, or you can sneakily blow up the City Liner vehicle to kill them all at once. After you get them one way or another, drop carefully down into their area and look for loot.
9 of 13: When you're done, enter the Metro Junction area and make your way to the exit that'll take you to Dupont Northeast. Once there, go up the stairs and look around to find a garbage can, a vending machine, a trash bin, and a fire hydrant you can drink from. (Note that it's a bit better than the central fountain's water.)
10 of 13: Check for a bottle of whiskey that may or may not be in the middle of the street as you go down it, then return to the big fountain. Go over the rubble that's NE of it to reach another raider side area.
11 of 13: Return to the central fountain and head NW from it to find a frag mine on the ground near a large rubble pile with a sandbag wall on it. After disarming the frag mine, go up to the sandbag wall to find a table with jet and two frag grenades on it, plus an ammo box on the ground next to it.
12 of 13: Go a ways NW of that to find a camp area with two mattresses and two sets of metal shelves with items on them. (Don't neglect to dump out the items in the small wooden crate so you can get them.) A bit SW of that are two mail dropboxes that you can check for items.
13 of 13: Farther down the street is the entrance to Foggy Bottom Station. Look around it for two garbage cans and a metal box.
