Craterside Supply Tips
of 8: This is Moira Brown's store, and is probably where you'll be doing most of your merchant business. It's also a good place to go when you need a work bench to create Custom Weapons with.
of 8: Go in and trade with Moira sometime during the day. Also, start on her "The Wasteland Survival Guide" misc. quest to get a free armored jumpsuit.
of 8: As for stealing stuff, Moira's mercenary guard makes that very difficult to do in the main room. However, you can go through the doorway next to him to get to the bedroom, which has lockers and three metal boxes near the bed.
of 8: Also, go upstairs to find four more metal boxes on some shelves, then sneak around the main part of the upper floor to find five more metal boxes and a locked desk.
of 8: To make the stuff in the main room a bit easier to steal, you could walk up against Moira to push her through the doorway into the bedroom area, but that won't help much (though it could help you pickpocket her unseen).
of 8: Also, remember that you can pick up loose items using Grab mode, then carry them out of everyone's sight before you take them. Do that with the bottlecap mine on the work bench, the 10mm pistol and whiskey on the small table behind the counter, and whatever food items you want from the shelves.
of 8: Note that the holotape that's on the same table as the pistol and whiskey doesn't have to be dragged out of sight before you take it. It's related to the "The Replicated Man" misc. quest.
of 8: There's a locker behind the counter that can't be opened without a key. It contains Moira's store inventory, and you can only open it if you kill Moira and take the key from her body. (There's no way to pickpocket it.)
