Fallout 3 Hints
Master Suite Notes
of 13: Find the door to your suite near the NW corner of the penthouse lobby, just to the left of the hall that leads to the elevator.
of 13: Go inside to find that you have a robotic butler named Godfrey.
of 13: You can ask him for a drink to get a purified water item. Those are great to have when out exploring, since they'll restore your health without irradiating you or risking addiction. Keep asking him for drinks until he can't give you any more, then try again in a week or so.
of 13: KARMA TIP: Whenever you can get purified water from Godfrey, give it all to the thirsty guy just outside the tower's front gate to get a big karma increase. That can help make up for the huge karma hit you took for blowing up Megaton (assuming you don't want your character to be evil).
of 13: Godfrey can also give you a haircut if you'd like to change your character's hair style, hair color, and/or facial hair.
of 13: Look near the door you came in through to find a bobblehead collector's stand. Activate it to put all the bobbleheads you've found so far on it (without losing their effects, of course).
of 13: You also have a bed to sleep in to restore health and limb condition, and to get the "well rested" benefit, which gives you a 10% bonus to all XP earned until it wears off in 12 hours. (You can check the Stats/Status/EFF screen on your Pip-Boy at any time to see whether it's still in effect.)
of 13: There are four different containers (wardrobe, footlocker, safe, and desk) to sort stuff into that you want to keep, but not carry around all the time. You could put weapons in one, components for making custom weapons in another, etc.
of 13: Besides the door that leads to the penthouse lobby area, there's another one that leads out onto the balcony that goes all around the top of the tower.
of 13: To see about buying more stuff for your pad, take the elevator to the downstairs lobby. Go through the door that's directly west of the front desk, then turn right and go through the next door to enter the "Boutique Le Chic" shop.
of 13: Talk to Lydia Montenegro behind the counter, and ask about buying stuff for your suite.
of 13: If you want to know more about a particular item or theme, you can ask her about it to get a brief description.
of 13: After that, she'll have the items listed in her regular store inventory. They're all very expensive, so decide what you want first and save up for it. When you want to buy a theme, ask about buying stuff for the suite, then ask about the themes. When you choose a theme, it gets temporarily added to her store inventory.
