Fallout 3 Hints
The Naughty Nightwear Delivery
of 16: To start on the trail of this odd item, go to the Marigold Station area (location 9 on the Zone 9 Map).
of 16: Enter the underground Marigold Station metro area, ready to battle fire-breathing ants that are related to the misc. quest "Those!"
of 16: You'll soon come to the mezzanine. Check inside the upper-level ticket booth to find an audio log called "Grady's Last Recording" next to a skeleton.
of 16: Play the log in your Pip-Boy's Data/Notes section to find out where the "package" is and who it's to be delivered to.
of 16: Both the item and the key to the safe it's in are in this area. See the Marigold Station Guided Tour for all the details on finding them.
of 16: When you get to the locked side door, either pick the lock or hack into the terminal and unlock it from there. (Or do both for more XP.)
of 16: In the room past the locked door, check both sets of shelves for containers, plus a ripper chainsaw.
of 16: The main thing you're after is in the big safe that's opened by the key you got from the fire hose box earlier.
of 16: Inside the safe, you'll find a unique apparel item called Naughty Nightwear that fortifies Luck by 1 and the Speech skill by 10.
of 16: You may want to put it on before you try to leave the room, since a guy named Lug-Nut will appear and demand that you hand it over.
of 16: When you can, go to Girdershade (location 5 on the Zone 7 Map), where the guy who's supposed to receive the "package" lives.
of 16: Get started on the misc. quest "The Nuka-Cola Challenge" if you haven't already to get Ronald Laren to show up.
of 16: After you talk to Ronald about the Nuka-Cola Quantums that Sierra wants, quicksave before you talk to him again.
of 16: Ask him if he knows someone named Grady, then say that you have his package.
of 16: You'll then be able to attempt a Speech Challenge that'll get you 300 caps for the Naughty Nightwear. If you fail the challenge, you can either quickrestore and try again, or you can settle for 200 caps.
of 16: After you make the sale, quicksave yet again, then pickpocket the Naughty Nightwear back from Ronald so you can sell it back to him for another 200 caps. (Keep that up to get more and more caps!)
