Fallout 3 Hints

Election Day

  • 1 of 10: Go to the Republic of Dave (location 5 on the Zone 3 Map) for this undocumented quest.
  • 2 of 10: After you've been given asylum, ask Dave if anything is happening, then say "yes, absolutely" to stay on his good side.
  • 3 of 10: Ask to help with the election, then go around and check with each of the republic's five adults to see if they voted.
  • 4 of 10: Start with Dave himself. It turns out that yes, he's already voted for himself. (What a guy!)
  • 5 of 10: The other four adults you need to talk to are Rosie, Jessica, Shawna, and Bob.
  • 6 of 10: You can just remind them to go vote, or you can first discuss the election with them and encourage them to run against Dave.
  • 7 of 10: You can persuade Rosie and Bob to vote for themselves by passing tough Speech Challenges.
  • 8 of 10: Once everyone has been reminded to vote, you may have to wait awhile before they all make it to the ballot box in the Capitol Building.
  • 9 of 10: After everyone has cast their vote, talk to Dave about the election and say that all the votes are in.
  • 10 of 10: You'll get paid 25 caps for your help and Dave will win the election, whether you got Rosie and Bob to vote for themselves or not.
