Fallout 3 Hints

Gain entrance to Rivet City.

  • 1 of 5: Rivet City is marked on your world map, down near its SE corner. Unfortunately, you may not have any handy fast-travel destinations anywhere near it.
  • 2 of 5: There are basically two ways to get there. The simplest (though potentially longest and most dangerous) is to leave the GNR building and fast-travel to the Farragut West Metro Station, then make your way down the east bank of the Potomac River.
  • 3 of 5: However, the recommended way is the underground through-the-metro way.
  • 4 of 5: Once you've gotten to where Rivet City is officially discovered, you'll need to figure out how to actually get onto it.
  • 5 of 5: When Harkness accosts you, tell him you're here to see Doctor Li about finding your father, and he'll let you in.
