West Half Loot Tips
1 of 11: Start by looking for a small Brotherhood supply shack just NW of the Washington Monument.
2 of 11: It has a mine box and three ammo boxes on shelves, two first aid boxes on a counter, and three rad-x and two radaways on shelves above the counter.
3 of 11: The trouble is that taking those items is considered stealing from the Brotherhood, so quicksave first and take everything sneakily.
4 of 11: Next, disarm and take all of the frag mines that the Brotherhood guys set nearby.
5 of 11: Also near the blue car is a fire hyrdant you can drink from to restore health. There's another one farther down the street, next to the stairs that lead down to the Georgetown/The Mall Metro entrance.
6 of 11: Farther down are two mail dropboxes, followed by yet another fire hydrant.
7 of 11: The next thing in line is the Lincoln Memorial, but I won't provide any tips for it here since it's an essential part of the "Head of State" misc. quest.
8 of 11: Past the memorial, check near the stairs to the Hazmat Disposal Site L5 area for another fire hydrant, then head east to find another fire hydrant, followed by a hole in the street.
9 of 11: In the hole is a large sewer pipe with a torn-open grating that leads to the Mirelurk Nesting Hole area.
10 of 11: Down the street past that is yet another fire hyrdrant near the radroach side area.
11 of 11: That's it except for the Washington Monument, which can only be entered while working on a Main Quest.
