North-Side Area Notes
1 of 11: As you pass the City Liner, look for a lone super mutant to shoot up ahead.
2 of 11: At the intersection the mutant is near, go north to find a wastelander impaled on one side of a huge four-man statue, followed by the entrance to the Freedom Street Station metro area.
3 of 11: Go east from the intersection until you see a blue car on your right partially blocking the entrance to an underground area.
4 of 11: Sneak-walk carefully past the car, looking for tripwires. There are two of them, attached to swinging-junk and "grenade bouquet" traps.
5 of 11: Deactivate or sneak past them, then get the grenades from the bouquet if your Explosives skill is high enough.
6 of 11: Past that is an area where a scavenger trader has set up shop. You can barter with her and sneakily steal the stuff on the metal shelves.
7 of 11: Directly across the street from that is a fenced-in area with two trash bins and a baby carriage bomb that you can disable if your Explosives skill is really high.
8 of 11: The only other thing to the east is a manhole entrance to the Sewer metro area.
9 of 11: Return to the intersection and go west until you come to a STOP sign.
10 of 11: Look to the right to find a super mutant in the back of a truck container. Kill him, then check the container for dead wastelanders, a mattress to sleep on, two first aid boxes, and two ammo boxes.
11 of 11: From there, head south to the Brotherhood of Steel's sandbag wall, which is where you'd have gotten by going west from the main street intersection.
