Search Lamplight Caverns for a way into Vault 87.
1 of 5: Before you leave the Citadel, there are several optional things you might want to do.
2 of 5: Exit to the Citadel courtyard, then fast-travel as close to Little Lamplight (location 11 on the Zone 4 Map) as you can. You'll at least be able to get as close as Smith Casey's Garage.
3 of 5: Once you reach Little Lamplight, find the door that leads to the caverns and enter them.
4 of 5: Go down the cave tunnel until you reach the large open area with a big, closed gate. Be sure to quicksave before you approach the gate and start talking to "Mayor MacCready."
5 of 5: Ask him about Vault 87 and how to get there.
