Fallout 3 Hints

(Optional) Sabotage Vault 101.

  • 1 of 7: You'll get this objective when you talk to Butch, who's guarding the corridor near the clinic.
  • 2 of 7: From where Butch is standing, go back downstairs and follow the "REACTOR" signs to find the door to the Vault 101 Sub-Level area.
  • 3 of 7: Go through the door labeled "FILTER ROOM," and then through the door past it.
  • 4 of 7: Turn left and go through another door, then go through yet another door past that.
  • 5 of 7: Go through the doorway on the right and look for the Vault 101 Maintenance Terminal.
  • 6 of 7: Since Butch told you there were problems with the water chip, use the terminal to begin water chip service.
  • 7 of 7: Choose to begin manual service, then run a systems purge. That'll wreck the water chip and begin sounding an evac alarm.
