Fallout 3 Hints

Tell Squirrel the guard has been distracted.

  • 1 of 6: Return to the slave pen "window" and talk to Squirrel.
  • 2 of 6: After you tell him about Forty being distracted, he'll say that Penny refuses to leave.
  • 3 of 6: If you can pass a fairly hard Speech Challenge, you can convince Squirrel and Sammy to leave Penny behind. This jumps you ahead to the "Meet the children southwest of Paradise Falls" objective.
  • 4 of 6: Otherwise, enter the slave pen after Squirrel and Sammy run off, and go talk to Penny.
  • 5 of 6: If you can pass a Speech Challenge with her, you can get her going and skip to the "meet the children outside" objective mentioned above.
  • 6 of 6: Otherwise, you'll have to do the "Find a way to release Rory Maclaren from the box" objective.
