How does the Code Wheel work?
1 of 9: The inner ring (with red letters and numbers) can be turned. Simply match up one letter or number to its equivalent on the outer ring and the others will fall into place.
2 of 9: The postcard gave you the starting point.
3 of 9: A=0. (A equals Zero)
4 of 9: Find the letter A on the inner ring of the code wheel. Move the inner ring so that the letter A lines up with the Zero on the outer ring. This can be a bit tricky. Do it slowly, one position at a time if you can.
5 of 9: Once the letter A is in position with the Zero, find the rest of the letters on the inner wheel and their corresponding meanings.
6 of 9: O=7
7 of 9: M=9
8 of 9: H=3
9 of 9: Unencrypted, the word OMAHA decodes to 79030.
