What combination does the globe require?

  • 1 of 15: Completing the bed post puzzle before doing this one will set the first and second rows for you.  If you haven't solved that one, you can dial them in manually if you prefer.
  • 2 of 15: You can see there are three rows of numbers.
  • 3 of 15: The first two rows represent the date and place of an important event in history.
  • 4 of 15: Have you read any history books?
  • 5 of 15: Read the book "History of World War II".
  • 6 of 15: The Invasion of Normandy took place on June 6, 1944.
  • 7 of 15: The first row of numbers should read 0606.
  • 8 of 15: The middle row is the last part of the date: 1944.
  • 9 of 15: The last row is the place of the Normandy Invasion.  No manner of guessing will help you find the numbers.  They are encoded.
  • 10 of 15: Omaha Beach was the location.  Where have you seen that before?
  • 11 of 15: There is a postcard in the closet from Omaha Beach.  Did you look at the back of the postcard?
  • 12 of 15: Have you found anything to help you decipher a code?
  • 13 of 15: Find a Code Wheel in the locked box under the bed.
  • 14 of 15: Unencrypt the code word OMAHA using the Code Wheel.
  • 15 of 15: The result is the combination for the final bottom row of numbers.
