F.E.A.R. Extraction Point Hints
Turret Combat Tips
of 11: You could actually just run past the turrets and go for the exit (see link below), but it's *really* hard to do that without taking any damage at all.
of 11: Of course, if you take a lot of damage fighting the turrets, then you might as well just run past them instead to save on ammo.
of 11: The safest way to fight them is, of course, from the doorway that leads out to their area.
of 11: Be crouched and in Zoom mode, then open the door and go into SlowMo mode.
of 11: Strafe right while facing the turrets' direction (to the left), and start shooting as soon as one of them comes in sight.
of 11: To avoid damage, you'll probably have to retreat and let SlowMo recharge after hitting that turret a few times.
of 11: NOTE: The particle weapon and its zoom scope are great to use here. So are frag grenades if you have two or three to spare.
of 11: When you destroy the first turret, repeat the process on the second one to get rid of it, too.
of 11: Or you could try making a run for the exit door after destroying only the first (rightmost) turret.
of 11: I've made it undamaged by going out the door and running along the nearest ledge before crossing the tracks behind the remaining turret and going for the exit door. (In fact, I once made it undamaged without destroying either of the turrets.)
of 11: Remember to run, not crouch-walk, and to holster your weapon first. Also, success depends on which way the turret is facing when you start, so you may have to wait for it to whir around a bit first.
