How can I defeat the Heavy Armor?
1 of 10: Remember that it's both slower and a *lot* harder to kill than ordinary Replicas.
2 of 10: That makes it a good idea to start your attack with a couple of frag grenades. Throw them at the Heavy Armor as you quickly retreat back the way you came.
3 of 10: Then use fairly standard SlowMo-attack-and-retreat tactics on it, perhaps favoring grenades as your weapon of choice to hit it with.
4 of 10: It would help if you were able to eliminate the Heavy Armor's support soldiers first. Then you could concentrate on it.
5 of 10: One thing you can do besides lob grenades at it is initiate SlowMo and charge it with the shotgun. (If you don't have one with you, temporarily switch out one of your regular weapons with a shotgun that a nearby Replica dropped.)
6 of 10: Shoot the Heavy Armor in its faceplate for maximum damage. You can pretty easily evade most of its shots while in SlowMo.
7 of 10: If that doesn't work so well, you could set one or both of the two prox grenades you found nearby so that the Heavy Armor will have to walk across them in order to get to you. (Though note that the Replica Troopers move faster, and may trigger the mines themselves.)
8 of 10: Another completely different strategy you can try is to drop down onto the pipes that are below and to the left of the three-plank board walkway. It's hard for the Heavy Armor or the Replicas to shoot you down there, and you can toss grenades at them fairly easily.
9 of 10: After the thing is finally dead, go around looking for any supplies you missed or didn't need before. You'll definitely need them now!
10 of 10: NOTE: The Heavy Armor drops a 10mm HV penetrator that you can choose to swap out with one of your current weapons. It's a powerful gun with a pretty good amount of ammo available throughout the game.
