How can I defeat this huge Power Armor thing?
1 of 15: First, before you use the "activate" panel that brings his lift down, go through all the nearby rooms and search them for supplies, including a rocket launcher.
2 of 15: Then find the room where his lift will descend.
3 of 15: It's visible through the windows of the control room.
4 of 15: In fact, you can get there by jumping up onto the control console and then crouching to go out the center window (after breaking out its glass, of course).
5 of 15: Take the time to find every route from the control room to the lift room.
6 of 15: There are two side ways besides the direct through-the-window way.
7 of 15: After you're thoroughly familiar with the area, go up to where the lift will appear and plant several prox grenades and/or remote bombs on the floor right next to the center of the lift, which is where the Power Armor will be. (Be sure to cluster them all together on the side of the lift that's nearest the control room.)
8 of 15: If you set enough grenades in the right spot, they can totally destroy the Power Armor for you.
9 of 15: I found that using two prox grenades and three remote bombs (or three proxes and two remotes) worked every time.
10 of 15: Return to the control room, save your game, and then hit the control panel.
11 of 15: As soon as the Power Armor sees you and starts forward, quickly move away from the windows since he can shoot rockets in through them.
12 of 15: After your grenades go off, quickly peek through the windows to see if the Power Armor has been destroyed.
13 of 15: If not, run around to his lift room one way or another and start attacking him with SlowMo and the rocket launcher. (Or just shoot him out of the control room's windows -- if he's near death, that'll be faster and easier.)
14 of 15: Sooner or later, you should be able to trash the thing. Check around everywhere for medkits and body armor after you do.
15 of 15: Then find the lift that the Power Armor came down on and use its panel to ride it up.
