Where can I get some "generosity potion"?

  • 1 of 20: Talk with Barry who has a stall at the Town Square.
  • 2 of 20: Try to get him to demonstrate just how good his generosity potion is.
  • 3 of 20: He's frightened to do this in case he becomes so generous that he might make you a present of his last bottle!
  • 4 of 20: But he'll agree if you are prepared to sign a contract with him.
  • 5 of 20: You almost certainly got a (full, i.e., inked) pen from Elton's workshop.
  • 6 of 20: If you didn't pick it up earlier, take the ink (well) also.
  • 7 of 20: You may not yet have acquired suitable paper on which to sign the contract.
  • 8 of 20: Enter the Sheriff's house (alongside Madame Zyz's -- originally, his door was locked!).
  • 9 of 20: Look at the chest there.
  • 10 of 20: Open it.
  • 11 of 20: But it's locked.
  • 12 of 20: Use your crowbar on it.
  • 13 of 20: Have you got a crowbar?  If not, you can get a crowbar from Larry's Caveshop.
  • 14 of 20: Look inside the chest.
  • 15 of 20: Read the book -- and a paper flutters to the floor.
  • 16 of 20: Pick up the paper.
  • 17 of 20: Check that you have a full pen, ink, and paper in your inventory.
  • 18 of 20: Return to Barry.
  • 19 of 20: Now he will sign the contract.
  • 20 of 20: However, after drinking a little potion he gets so generous that he tears up the contract and gives you a free sample -- the generosity potion.
