How do I buy supplies?
1 of 11: Visit the fort store.
2 of 11: He only has three things left to sell.
3 of 11: He can sell you a gold pan, a shovel, and a lantern.
4 of 11: You'll need the pan or the shovel, and the lantern.
5 of 11: The only currency they accept in California is gold!
6 of 11: Fortunately, you have some gold.
7 of 11: You brought it from Brooklyn.
8 of 11: You'll need to get more gold, though.
9 of 11: So buy something that will help you find some.
10 of 11: Buy either the shovel or the pan from the shopkeep. Give him the gold coin from Brooklyn. Don't buy the lantern with your coin, or else you won't be able to go find any more gold! You can buy the lantern later, after you've found some gold.
