Money-Making Tips
of 9: The obvious way to make money is to do missions and loot bandit camps, caves, etc.
of 9: However, you can also make a lot of money by stealing things in cities and then selling them. See the Stealing Tips for some helpful hints on that.
of 9: But the best way to get valuable things to sell is to find loners who have valuable respawning items and beat them up.
of 9: Take their items after they're unconscious, then go away for awhile and come back to find that their items have respawned, allowing you to beat them up and loot them again.
of 9: Or actually, all you have to do is quicksave your game and then quickrestore it in order to restore your victim's respawnable possession(s). You don't even have to wait for him to wake up first.
of 9: Do this several times in a row in order to build up a large inventory of valuable items that you can sell whenever you come across a merchant who has enough money to buy them.
of 9: Below is a list of the people I've found this to work really well with.
of 9: In order to be able to sell a lot of stuff, you should travel to a bunch of different cities and pick up their teleporter stones so you can teleport around and have easy access to a wide range of merchants.
of 9: Sometimes a merchant's gold supply will respawn if you quicksave and then quickrestore, but that's very finicky and often doesn't work.
