Dragon Hoard Notes

  • 1 of 16: Go out the town's north gate and run NW into the large, open field a ways.
  • 2 of 16: Look up on a hill to the NW to see a ruined tower.
  • 3 of 16: That's where a dragon has set up its outdoor lair, complete with treasure hoard!
  • 4 of 16: Run to the NW corner of the large field and get up on the higher bit of ground with trees on it.
  • 5 of 16: Then find the little "crevassy" spot in the rock wall near the corner of the higher ground. You can jump up it using the Misc. Tip about getting up fairly steep slopes.
  • 6 of 16: After you get up on the small patch of ground past the crevasse, look to the south for a spot where you can easily jump up to higher ground.
  • 7 of 16: Once up there, turn right and run up the slope. You should be able to see the ruined tower very close by.
  • 8 of 16: Look a ways to the left of the tower for a steep, rocky path that you need to jump your way up.
  • 9 of 16: Past the last large rock is a slope leading up to the dragon and its treasure.
  • 10 of 16: Carefully walk up the slope so you can get to where you have a good shot at the dragon.
  • 11 of 16: Hit it with one arrow, then quickly run back to the large rock at the bottom of the slope.
  • 12 of 16: Shoot the dragon again if necessary to keep it coming, then get down next to the lowest large rock that's on the steep path.
  • 13 of 16: Your goal is to get the dragon to where you can see it between two trees while standing next to that rock.
  • 14 of 16: From there, you should be able to shoot it repeatedly without it being able to breathe fire at you.
  • 15 of 16: NOTE: Don't worry if you don't get a health bar for the dragon at the top of the screen. After you shoot it a bunch of times, that dragon will be saggin'!
  • 16 of 16: After it's dead, go up the slope to the ruins and plunder that treasure!
