Gothic 3 Hints
Can I get to the castle without having to fight any orcs?
1 of 8: Yes, but you'll have to very quickly run by a few of them.
2 of 8: When you leave the temple, turn left and run over to the edge of the drop-off.
3 of 8: Drop down so that you'll land on the highest piece of ground down there, then run for the steps that lead up to the third orc commander's house.
4 of 8: You'll have to dodge a few orcs at the top of those steps, and may take a couple of hits, but you should be able to get by.
5 of 8: Turn right at the top of the steps and run a short distance to reach some rubble-clogged steps that lead up to the castle courtyard.
6 of 8: The orcs can't get up those steps, but you can with repeated jumping.
7 of 8: Once you make it, go get the castle teleporter stone from Karrypto's room. Then you can teleport back and forth between the temple and castle without having to mess with any orcs.
8 of 8: NOTE: You can also do the "Eliminate the five leaders of the orc siege inside the barrier" mission in reverse, starting by clearing out the fifth orc commander's area. If you need help, just lead the orcs up the unclogged steps to the castle courtyard.
