Gothic 3 Hints

Take Markus's fire chalice to the head of the Fire Mages.

  • 1 of 8: You get this mission from Markus right after you teleport in to Vengard.
  • 2 of 8: But first, you'll want to complete the "Eliminate the five leaders of the orc siege inside the barrier" mission.
  • 3 of 8: From the fifth commander's house, go north and up the stairs to reach the fortified area near the king's castle.
  • 4 of 8: In Rhobar's throne room, go through the doorway in the wall to the left of the throne, then up the nearby stairs.
  • 5 of 8: Turn right and go up some more stairs, then move forward and through the large doorway on the right that leads to two winding sets of stone stairs.
  • 6 of 8: At the top of those stairs is the room that Karrypto, the Fire Mage head, lives in.
  • 7 of 8: Report Markus' attempts to bring him a fire chalice to finish the mission and get 2000 XP, five Vengard rep points, and one Rebel rep point.
  • 8 of 8: Then return to Markus to get 500 XP.
