Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Hints
Where can I find this chest?
1 of 4: It's in a cave with a black troll. If you can't handle such a beast, wait until later to go after the sword.
2 of 4: To find the cave, head SW along the road that leads away from Montera's west gate until you get near some tall stone ruins. Go through the ruins and over to a wooden watchtower, then head NW and follow the glowing crystals.
3 of 4: Trash the troll, then open Orontius' chest to get a very powerful (and nameless) blade, plus several other magic weapons and items.
4 of 4: The nameless sword requires the Master of Two Blades skill to equip, but you can get around that little detail. Get a Master Sword (see the Vengard section of the Special Free Equipment List) and equip it, then equip the nameless sword. (Note that it'll replace the Master Sword instead of equipping along with it.)
